Job Title: Store Executive – Solar Projects
Location: Khavda, Gujarat)
Reports to: Project Manager / Store incharge
Job Summary:
The Store executive will be responsible for efficiently managing the site stores for solar project materials and equipment. This role ensures proper receipt, storage, documentation, and issuance of materials as per project requirements, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring minimal material wastage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Management
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials as per PO/delivery challan.
Ensure proper storage, stacking, and tagging of all materials and components.
Ensure handling and storage of solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, etc., is as per OEM guidelines.
Monitor and maintain stock levels; raise indent for replenishment.
2. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), MRN (Material Receipt Notes), stock registers, and issue slips.
Maintain updated records of inward and outward materials in ERP/software or manual registers.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and share with HO.
3. Inventory Control
Perform regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with system records.
Identify non-moving/slow-moving materials and inform management.
Prevent loss, theft, damage, and pilferage of materials.
4. Coordination
Coordinate with purchase, project, and finance teams for material tracking and planning.
Liaise with transporters and vendors for delivery status and documentation.
Support the project team with timely issuance of materials as per work schedules.
5. Compliance and Safety
Ensure compliance with safety norms and housekeeping at the store.
Ensure proper disposal/return of scrap and surplus materials.
Follow ISO, audit, and internal control procedures related to stores and inventory.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in any discipline (B.Com/BBA preferred); Diploma in Material Management is an advantage.
3–5 years of experience in store management, preferably in solar or construction/infra projects.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (like SAP, Tally, or solar-specific tools).
Familiarity with solar project materials (modules, inverters, cables, structures, etc.)
Skills Required:
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and inventory software.
Knowledge of logistics and warehouse safety procedures.
Ability to handle pressure and meet project timelines.
