Job Responsibilities

  • Tender Preparation: Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and project requirements for telecom towers, transmission towers, structures, and cable trays.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor requirements for each project.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective solutions for tenders.
  • Technical Review: Assess engineering designs and ensure they meet client specifications and company standards.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and submit comprehensive tender proposals, including technical and commercial aspects, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain detailed records of tender submissions, pricing strategies, and project specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with the engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure accurate project estimations.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings and tender negotiations to clarify technical and commercial terms as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in a tendering or cost estimation role, preferably in the infrastructure or manufacturing sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecom towers, transmission towers, cable trays, and PEB structures.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and estimation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
