### Job Description: 33 kV Line Engineer for Solar Project Execution

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Project Planning and Design:**
  - Develop detailed engineering plans and designs for 33 kV transmission lines, including route selection, tower design, and conductor specifications.
  - Coordinate with other engineering teams to integrate transmission line design with overall solar project infrastructure.
  - Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, local standards).

2. **Installation and Construction Supervision:**
  - Oversee the construction and installation of 33 kV transmission lines, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
  - Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify proper installation of towers, conductors, and other components.
  - Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.

3. **Technical Support and Troubleshooting:**
  - Provide technical support for the commissioning and testing of the transmission lines.
  - Diagnose and resolve issues related to the transmission line infrastructure, including faults, outages, and performance inefficiencies.
  - Implement corrective actions and maintenance plans to ensure ongoing reliability and performance of the 33 kV lines.

4. **Documentation and Reporting:**
  - Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design drawings, technical specifications, test reports, and maintenance records.
  - Generate progress reports, risk assessments, and technical evaluations for senior management and stakeholders.
  - Ensure all documentation complies with internal quality standards and regulatory requirements.

5. **Safety and Compliance:**
  - Promote and enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  - Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe working conditions for all personnel involved in the transmission line installation and maintenance.
  - Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in high-voltage transmission systems.

6. **Stakeholder Coordination:**
  - Liaise with project managers, clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives.
  - Coordinate with utility companies for grid connection and ensure compliance with grid codes and regulations.
  - Facilitate effective communication between engineering teams, contractors, and project management.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining high-voltage transmission lines, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- **Certifications:** Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- **Technical Skills:**
 - Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PLS-CADD).
 - Strong understanding of high-voltage transmission systems, power system analysis, and protection schemes.
 - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, etc.).
